What DIY mods will make the S/C more prominent?

I want that **** to whine! What can I do to make this happen without ****ing up the car or voiding my warranty?

Any of the pulley setups will increase the whine is the SC is spun faster. You could also remove the hood insulation pad and the plastic shield right behind it to let more noise come through. Thats about all that I can think of.

I think you should be able to take out the black plastic piece at the back of the hood to make the S/C sound more prominent without killing your warranty. You could always mess with the S/C internals if you're handy at that kind of thing, and it would be pretty hard to detect. Maybe a port and polish job, and some other special treatment??

Warranty aside, I got MAJOR SC whine cutting out the secondary cats, adding headers (kind of) and openning up the intake.

my friend had a supercharged GTP and his blower got really loud once he got "cone ona stick" intake. i think the VRP fangs or something similar to that will make the SC very audible !

Chiromikey and DSC says removing the plastic piece under the hood closest to the windshield made his car sound like it had a 12-71 under the hood.

Dealer may chew you out for doing it, but can't imagine that voiding warranty.

That sounds all fine and dandy, but at the risk of having rain get in, I don't know about that. I daily drive my car and it's been raining like a mother lately here in Cali and I wouldn't want to risk anything. so no whine for me!

I have my plastic piece removed and my car has been sitting out in the rain for the last few days here. The rain doesn't get under the hood, and there haven't been any problems with the car at all.

Yes. You won't get as much supercharger whine as a Ford, but there is some.

mess around with your intake Y splitter...

search code3 intake.. and it can give you an idea.

I have it my c32.. and its really loud. Therefore I taped over 50% of its opening to reduce the noise. Its perfect!.
