Ahh, so we build a new exhaust manifold.... no big deal!

The turbos are allegedly KKK model K24.

This is how the Brabus sells their kit, and yes the exhaust manifold is a one-piece cast with the turbine housing:

Same as Audi and Porsche. If it wasn't one piece it would be so much easier to upgrade

This is the setup I run on my 55 as well. It provides enough capacity that you can put a decent amount of ice in the reservoir.

Also, once we get the "super chiller" (AC condensor setup) done, having the 4gallon capacity is essential if you want to make sure the water stays at the cooled down temperature otherwise it will heat back up before you can even finish the 1/4mile. Our cars run the AC all the time except for WOT. As soon as you go WOT the computer cuts the AC which means the chilling effect stops. You need to make sure you have enough capacity to hold you for a good run.
Can you mix some salt in with the ice bath? are there any parts that would get corroded? The salt will allow the temp to go below 32 degrees. If you put in some 5 degree ice you could start with a 5 degree ice bath. I can't wait to get a 65!

Trust me bro...even if those turbo's werent cast as one piece-- You wouldnt want that PUNY LITTLE manifold on there for 1000hp++......

Garunteed Larry at SP can Fab up a mani that will destroy that MB mass produced cast mani in every way.

What do you think will flow better....this......

or this...(courtesy Larry at SP).....

Rhetorical question---I know you know the answer.....

The problem is not building it...its making it fit!!...There is no room to play under the hood, unless you want to chop away some of the car, then that would be an easy choice....

Wow that thing is a materpiece looks like a single turbo supra motor! lol!!

How long before we have a TH400 swap thread, lol

But in all seriousness, what are the limits of the trans? It has to be the weak link. Has anyone opened one up?

I'll try and keep everyone updated on the progress once we get started.
Larry? Sound Performance?! Awesome!!! I got my single turbo kit for my Supra from them waaaay back when they offered the SP57 single (killer spool, usable street power)...Larry was always very nice and helpful on the phone. Based on my previous business with SP, I feel much more comfortable with a kit from them for my CL65.

Marko...insane supra...i love it! makes me miss mine :/

pics of my old supra (moment of silence cuz the idiot i sold it to wrecked it)

here's the SP57 single turbo I had vs 1 stock supra turbo

all the work I've seen from SP has been top notch...i look forward to what they have to offer for my CL65
