60' times with what street tires and where?
Out of curiousity I would like to get a idea of some 60' times with what street tires and where. I'll start off.
Sacramento Raceway 1.828 on Toyo T1R's with 275 35 18's.

Lots of 1.71's - 1.76's at Atco on 265/35 PS2's and on 275/35 PS2's.

I think my best at E-Town was 1.76 on 275 PS2's, with a few in the 1.79 to 1.85 range.

Atco runs are at rentals. E-town are regular track days.

I thought a 1.69 was my best on Toyo T1Rs, but it looks like a 1.67 takes it:

What's up Baller - Did you ever sell the Kosei's with the MT's? Blueknight is trying to get into touch with you and is very interested in purchasing.

I'm sure you'll reach you 2.0 mark fairly easy, if not just switch to Toyo T1R's. That's what I did before my first time to the track, ever..and ran a 1.9. On the second time out I ran a 1.82 and a few 1.9's, still nothing compared to the veterans of the sport but still respectable for being a rookie on street tires. The funny thing about it is that my quickest 60' time is still with my street tires and not my DR's...

I did my engine mods backward from the norm and installed the pulley and ECU tune last instead of first. Before getting the pulley and ECU tune my best 60' times were 1.80 +/- a few hundredths. I only got down to 1.69 to low 1.7s with the pulley and a good engine tune from VRP.

Not sure if folks are running with ESP on or off. There are safety reasons for leaving it on, of course, but I run better times with it turned off.

Chiromikey has written that DRs didn't make much of a difference to his 60' times, either. He speculates that the ECU load limiter is kicking in and restricting torque. Could well be something like that is happening.

i thought he said the quaife rear diff. didn't help much at all ... but if ur using street tires i say use ESP .. do burnout without it then before u get to light turn it back on and come out half throttle and once the car gets moving then floor it .. that is what i did with street tires and it worked , other ppl who come to the track with same car i helped them and it worked for them as well .. a guy came out and was running low 13's with stock car and he asked me to tell him what to do and ran 12.5 . he's on this forum if he reads this he'll tell u it works
If ESP on works better for you or others, that's terrific. I've run multiple 1.69s and can hit 1.7x with reasonable consistency with ESP off, so I'm personally sticking with ESP off.
Might be interesting to poll folks to see if the guys running faster 60' times are ESP on or off.
