2007 R63 AMG for the wife.
Have not pickup yet.
and of course E55 wagon for myself. And in shop right now doing VRP600.

Did you buy one from MB of Oakland or MB of Pleasanton? Both of them have R63's.... been tempted to get one also (to make yours a little less rarer 
) but I plan to keep an R class until it dies (just for hauling people and baby) so need to think long-term reliability & maintenance cost We'll see whether MB gasoline engine could last 150K+ (which I'm sure I'll reach that) w/o much cost

I saw both... the pleasanton is silver. less mileage.
missing the most important option for me. distronic. It also was a little more worn interior. and they want too much $$.

) and was thinking of toying w/ the price for R63 w/ them How much did you get it for if you don't mind me asking? Just want to gauge how flexible they are relative to asking price.
They call it majestic black... wonder whether they're actually obsidian black?

LOL... my wife is sold w/ AMG seat. She likes them so much (W210 E55 then W203 C55 then W211 E55) that she hates regular bimmer seat (haven't tried M5 yet)... so what I need to avoid is to let her sit on R63....
So you mind telling me your purchase price? PM me if you don't want to publish it. Or... let me put it this way... if I start my offer at $22K OTD for the white one (so ~30% discount from their asking price), would it be out of line?
My logic is:
Their asking price is a little too high... even compared to their sister company (MB SF), who asks ~$3K lower. Take another 15-20% off to leave room for negotiation would make $20K before TLC or $22K after TLC.

This purchase is worth the money for the simple fact of a "minivan" blowing away 99% of the cars on the road, and the looks on the faces of those 99%ers. Go mod nuts and stick PTA, Proud Parents of..., Baby on Board etc stickers on the back for added insult.
