55kompressor camshafts
just picked up some 55k kompressor camshafts for very cheap off a good friend of mine with a e55 that did a slr camshaft upgrade.
what kind of valve springs and retainers would i need to make this upgrade work and what kind of gains can i expect.

05 ML-500 , 03 CLK5.5 AMG has left the Garage
Valve train update parts
Hello Hercules 86; If you have an S-500 ,you would need valve springs with interal Spring Damper (looks like double spring setup) X 24 P/N 113 050 00 94 & Retainers P/N 603 053 03 25 , to match the springs. I ordered 24 of each at the request of a former member ,and then he never sent any money. My Bad for not getting a deposit.Cheers _PTEngineering

This is a nice upgrade. Should definitely see some gains. I have heard many doing the swap to 55K cams with proper tuning.. Good Luck.

Please list the parts needed for the 55 cam shaft change.

What block is in the SLR?
I KNOW ALLOT ABOUT CAMS....I have learned some interesting stuff about german based valve springs vs. others.
Just make sure you swap to a new set during your cam swap....BECAUSE of heat cycle's/spring life!
Do they make aftermarket valvesprings?
If anyone wants to here my opinion about cams/valve springs. PM me!
