Are these wheels a good deal for the price?
I know these aren't the optimal performance wheel, but I do like the look and the fact that they are AMG 19". They have been for sale forever leading me to believe that the price is too high. For those in the know is this a good deal or not?

2005 e55 amg
waaaaay overpriced imo.
not to hijack, but dumb question - when you buy non merc wheels, can you take the pressure sensor off the OME wheels and put them on the new wheels? If not, do you get an error message if your new wheels dont have tyre pressure sensors?

Not sure about your question ACB, but I'm running these wheels on my car now. To be honest, I LOVE the way they look on the E55 (esp. a silver one) but they are boats.
Probably weigh somewhere around 37-40 pounds each without tires. Steering is WAY heavier and it makes the car feel like it weighs about twice the weight. Drive a stock E55 after driving one with these bad boys and although the ride isn't as smooth, the car feels like it weighs 20 pounds.
If performance isn't your #1 concern (corners suck but drag actually helps having the heavier wheel in the rear) then I say go for it. Hands down best looking wheel on the W211.

I've had these on my car for over three years now, the best looking amg wheel on a silver car, or any color for that matter. I check the wheels inside and outside once a month for hairline cracks, none yet, price a little high, keep checking E-Bay you can get them cheaper.

Im my opinion... for that price you can get a very nice set of aftermarket wheels.... even some slightly used HREs.....
