Admittedly I didn't read this whole thread, but I might have a winner here among all the poser sightings...

My wife and I were driving earlier today, and as we passed a certain car on the road, my wife asks, "Is that a Bentley?" I slowed down a bit to let them pass, noticed the 'B' on the back. But as we passed again, she noticed the "HEMI - C" badge near the driver's door! Seems like the dude had swapped out the Chrysler ornaments on his 300 for Bentley ornaments...

It's one thing to put AMG badges on your non-AMG car. Another thing altogether to rebrand it to the tune of several hundred thousand dollars. Unfortunately I didn't snap a pic.

Perhaps shame on me for not being able to distinguish a 300 from a Bentley in the first place...

WTFFFFF! As the years progress, the cls, e, sl prices obviously are starting to drop, more n more you will see just disgusting **** like this... people without any sense of taste, trying to "pimp out" their cars.

I mistake 300s for a Bentley all the time!! I would be pissed if I were a Bentley owner. Get a Rolls and nobody will mistake your car for a 30k tin can. Nuff said.

I saw some car (Camry / Ford 500) with BMW badges and 530i on the rear. Every badge was there, only thing, no kidney grill. I slowed down and stared at them, and the middle age wife was like WTF??? (I was in my old M3, and just shrugged)

I think her husband lost a bunch of gambling money, and had to pass off the family cruiser as a 5 series. Maybe he is the one that bought the er.. Bentley. We Movin' up in the world honey!!!

wow! just saw a clk not only with fake 63/amg badges all over it but with a vanity plate that read "639 hp". lmao, wtf is wrong with people...there's no shame in owning any clk!

I dont so much mind when they do the AMG logo on it's own. I admire the fact that they love the AMG and may not be in a buying position to own one. Sometimes, the factory might sell an "AMG" appearance package and that's ok with me.

I put a spare AMG plate I had from my C32 on my wife's W212 E350. I would have moved it over to the E55 when I got it a few weeks ago, but the 55 had a carbon fiber AMG frame already.

So does that make me a full poser or a half poser?

Jesus Christ if I had only taken a picture, there was an A Class with "SL65 AMG" on the back and "V8 Kompressor" down the side. Sucks that it was moving if only we had pulled along side it that would have been an epic picture. I was just grinning at him, very distracting on the highway but I just couldn't help myself I'm 90% sure he saw the V8 Kompressor on the side of my car because he could clearly see me turning around every ~15 seconds to smirk at him but he never turned, I bet he was sweating like a...

By the way if anyone is wondering what a Mercedes A Class looks like...

Funny that is some people don't really know anything about Mercedes cars and they buy it used after it was poserized so they are infact unaware offenders. I will admit though if I had a non AMG Mercedes and didn't have money for the price or maintenance of an AMG I would make it LOOK like one but never badge it one. So I'm make an E500 look like an E63 but never badge it one. I mean some of the E55 owners here have done the E63 conversion which I also plan to do, we wouldn't badge them E63s but if we condemn the non-badgers for posing then the 55 boys shouldn't be allowed to do the 63 swap.

Does anyone know why these people do this? I just don't understand. Do they have any idea what AMG even stands for or what it is all about? Do they even know the difference between, a non AMG model and their car? I can't seem to understand. This happens to a lot of cars: BMW M Cars, Corvette Z06s, Ford Mustangs, Camaros, and so on.

I can't seem to understand, next time I see a person that is a poser I will confront them about it on camera and post it on here, thats a MBWORLD promise. I want to see what these guys have to say about putting AMG logos all over their car.
