PULLEY IN STALL HELP!!!!!!!
Ok so my friend is removing my pulley for me but cant find the tensioner to loosen the belts any help would be appreciated. thanks

^ very true.
Anyway, when facing the engine compartment. S/C belt tensioner is toward the upper left. The accessory belt is more difficult. The tensioner is at the right side of the waterpump. 17mm iirc, for the tensioner. On both there is a hole to place a small punch or even a allen key which will lock the tensioner in an untensioned position.

No not yet , he decided to just do it at my house so he went over and pulled the engine cover , intake tubes , and radiator fan , then he was going back tomorrow with a crank pulley tool and finish it up. I decided to go with a 180mm LET pulley

Don't have it done at the house. Has he done SC pulleys? Not being rude, but you really do need a lift to TQ the bolt proper like.
I am in no way doubting his skills or anything. I just think you should MAXIMIZE your chances of success.
Hope you enjoy..

FWIW, I have worked on my Ferrari myself when I had it and the E55 motor is an antique compared to a modern V8 Ferrari motor so i would still be skeptical about someone that can't find a tensioner on a belt.
THat being said, I am sure he will do I fine job as long as he is careful and torques it properly.

Cut the guy a break. Its not like the people havnt asked about this in the past.
This is what a forum is about. Asking questions and getting help.
I have done my pulley change myself without a lift but have come on here to ask questions on the install.
For the OP there are 2 tensioner

Everyone can calm down now he found the both tensioners. But all you guys might be right he should pry stop working on my far superior Mercedes and go back to the inferior $500,000 Daytona in the shop or go back to maintaining the two $250,000 F430 Challenge race cars.

Good luck and I'm sure your car is in good hands.
