Houston Caravan to the Texas Mile 10/17
As many of you local houston car nuts know the Texas Mile is around the corner.
Would anyone be interested in forming a caravan from the south west houston area?
We could meet up and then drive down all together. They have some pretty good breakfast places in the country, probably make a pitstop there.
Does anyone know if rick aka rarfinancial is participating this year?

I did a bunch of autocross and track days when I had my BMW, but after watching some less-fortunate drivers on YouTube destroy their cars on the track, I think those days are behind me now. I know the Beast would appreciate the experience...but my wallet (and wife) would not react so well if I hit the wall at 135 with a WOT.

I would love to but I'm headed up to Dallas for OU/TX. What about a caravan out to Victoria for those Houston guys putting their cars on the dyno or just going out to the LET dyno day for fun?

I fear the extreme heat backed up by these damn stock manifolds!! May have to run in March..

I'll probably leave the event around 4pm, there is some cell phone reception out there so you'll find me.
Also if the weather predictions are correct - cars are going to have a 10mph tail wind. Not as good as the tail wind in March but, will allow 5-10mph faster speeds than normal Texas Mile conditions.
