Matching lights and fogs
About to upgrade to HID fogs and swap out stock Xenons to all be 6000k. I wanted to know what other bulbs I need to replace so all bulbs in front are matching and what the bulb sizes are. Is it only the DRL's? Also any benefit to going to LEDs? Thanks!

Shardul has swapped out all of his lights so they match and it looks great. Hopefully he'll chime in (he told me what he changed to but I forgot).

I bought the led mini wedge bulbs with the resistors from recomendations in the cls forum and they work perfect. They matched so perfectly it's unreal!!! From eBay, motoring max
For fogs, get an mtec hid kit and you will not have problems!

I would recommend using LEDs in the driving (center headlight) lights, with 5000K D2S bulbs for low beams and 8000K fogs. Reason being is that when the bulb is positioned lower, the view from above appears yellower. My 6000K fogs look like 3000K color-wise. See below:

This shows a picture of how close my center headlights match my low beams.

My setup
Low beams stock 4300k
City lights wedge LED bulbs with soldered resistors
Fogs hoen halogen xenon match
Now my ideal setup for fogs would be
The fog lights that have a projector lense in them with a 4300 for 5000k his kit.

I have a matching 8K kit on my car, just replaced the upper bulbs to 8K bulbs, put in the entire 8k HID kit at the bottom and removed the daytime running bulbs (park bulbs) I think it looks way better without them in there.
Good Luck

Found these links. Might just order a set to try them out.

Looks like they worked for the S-class guys.

Same price as the ones off ebay so I'm going to give the city lights a go and see how they look.

Check this out, go to V-LEDS.com. They Sell both HID kits and loads of LED's. You should get a 6000k HID kit from them and then buy a pair of their 6000K LED's. Your pretty much guaranteed to have a excellent looking match if you do it that way. I have the 6000k LED's but not their HID's and i have to say, the LED's look excellent. I have bought loads of LED's and the ones from V-LEDS.com are the best ive seen in terms of quality thus far. Im so bored that im going to go take a pic for you guys. Post it up soon.
