OT: My new HRE table
Sorry for the OT, but I had to share this 
. There was an individual HRE wheel for sale in the classifieds, and someone may have made a joke about turning it into a table.... Well.... I thought it was worth a try, and I love it!!! Check out the pictures. I need to get the barrel polished to a mirror finish and it will look perfect!!

Nice! Great item for a show garage or man room
My girl would snip my sac if I tried car items as decor.
I say polish the barrel and make it into a planter. Maybe some nice tulips growing through the spokes...

HA! I almost bought that wheel to do practically the same thing. I was trying to figure out how to make it into a bar stool.

Aleks doesn't have to worry about girls. He can't get any, so therefore he doesn't have to worry about what they say about his car parts in the living room. Ironically, he doesn't have any blowed up carnage engine parts on the coffee table, though.

I had extra set of AMG wheels that I was going to turn into lawn ornaments! Table was a possiblity too. Four wheels, four legs. Or just set into a wall as wall decor! when I get my custom home, that will be where all my old wheels will go! Great job! Suggestion on the base though, that classic greek column may not be a good fit with the polished metal. Got any classified ads for old metal bar stools?
