Service G due in 26 days

Is there a way to turn these alerts off when they come up?

An additonal thought. These are expensive cars. Surely a few (hundred) extra dollars for the correct service won't break the bank.. Think of it as cheap insurance. It's like saying you're using regular because premium is too expensive or ignoring your high blood pressure until it's too late because you couldn't see the damage it was doing until your stroke.

Its just waste of money to go dealer for anything more than B service.

Changing fluids is simply basic maintenance and should certainly be done, but thinking that taking it to a dealer will uncover hidden errors(and believing that the techs will take more than 5 seconds to do an inspection) is simply false.
I was one of those idiots that took my car to a Dealer, which I had owned for just 6-8 months, and happened to be due for a "G" Service, with only about 3-4K Miles put on since I had bought it, and got raped. I only had 32K Miles and they did extensive Fluid replacements because the "time-line" showed it needed them.

I thought for some reason that if you don't follow these letters and avoid doing what M-B says is required/recommended, they can void your Warranty if a problem comes up.
Needless to say it was an expensive lesson. Cost just a few bucks shy of $1,000.
From now on I'm gonna do heavy price comparison, and not do anything that I think the car doesn't need.
