**PLEASE HELP** 180 Crank pulley touching water pump pulley...
Hi all. I finally got my car put back together and notice my crank pulley is touching my water pump pulley. Its scraping the outer edge of the water pump pulley. Anybody ever have this issue? Here is a photo...

Is it possible my crank pulley is flexing into the water pump pulley under torque? Is there something I am missing? I am running a renn-tech 180 pulley and if other are talking 185 or even 190mm pulleys I dont understand how they arent encountering this issue...
Please help. This cant be good

So u mean to tell me the renntech pulley and the renntech waterpump pulley are not built to work with each other? That doesn't make sense...has anyone else faced this problem with the renntech pulley package?

Yes, those are made to be used together. Instead of making the wp pulley smaller, they tapered the leading face. So, while idling they do not touch? I would like to hear their response.

My mistake, I did not understand that you got a RennTech 180mm + their water pulley solution.
Metal to metal can't be good......
I dunno how the water pulley is but make sure all four bolts are tight. The EVO one is very easy to deal with. You may wanna consider just getting it and not dealing with RennTech. You'd be foolish to think that they will reply to this thread or release any information on revisions. Just keep your Renntech water pulley and see if they haven't changed the design without saying a word in just a few........
