Ouch, sorry to hear that. The fix is likely to be in the $12-15K range.

Dude WTF?!?! So VW is just the tough guy german auto? That jetta looks like every other one on the road...

If it makes you feel any better, just a little bit, I wrecked my 55 after 2 weeks of ownership.

Hope the fix goes quick man! Let me know if you need anything.

That's a nasty hit. Haulin' *** through parking lots is plain stupid and there's too much of that going on these days. Hopefully the state minimum coverage is enough to repair the damage. BTW I think the VW only looks in as good shape as it does because of the angle he hit the Benz.

On Halloween I hit black ice on the on ramp to I-25 from auraria pkwy and slammed the passenger side into the wall at 65 mph...

The pass front wheel slammed up into the wheel well so bad that it crinkled the roof. the front bumper, front pass fender, pass side skirt and rear bumper had to be replaced. Pass side wheels were trashed!!! Front BBK was trashed. Wheel well was destroyed. Pass side exhaust had to be replaced. Air bags went off so that was a nice little treat. and of course all suspension components were scrapped. What a great experience with state farm as the total damages came to $26,xxx and didn't total the car lol. Then I got dropped

2.5 months to fix at Body works by murray and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. You cannot tell that a thing happened to her. They do good work but damn they are SLOW...

And to boot, after that experience I can say that owning anything other than a Mercedes would be far fetched. They make a rock solid car. Neither me nor my girlfriend (at the time) were hurt thank god. It was the only accident I've ever been in and I hope it's the last.

Sorry to hijack...

Holy ****!

Glad you were ok...I also have State Farm and other than a windshield or two haven't had any claims with them. Am I in for rough ride with SF as my insurance co?

Did you tell him that of all the cars in the parking lot, why did he pick likely the most expensive to repair? And if he knew he hit a 90k+ car?

Good luck with SF, I'm with Allstate and they've been nothing short of amazing for me in the past.

Dude, that sucks...he was probably one of those people that rushes to get some of those free samples they give out ...lol

one upside though....looks like you don't have parktronic...that makes you a perfect candidate for the 63 bumper if you're into that

I hate Costco, Walmart, Target, and Ralphs parking lots. Most of the people there drive like no one else is around: speeding, not looking, not stopping for pedestrians, driving behind your car when you are already halfway pulled out of your parking spot, cutting you off...

I'm sure your car will be fine, go for the E63 conversion.

More like 2-5 thousand dollar range. Looks like your suspension air compressor is damaged.
