Hello-I would like to pick up a spare key/fob as my car came with only one key. How much are the keys at the MB dealer? Are there any aftermarket/used options for a keyless remote? Thanks

I paid $195 for a key for my 05 C230 in 2008, i took one day to arrive, and was already programmed for the car.

Just went through this....They are $250 delivered. You go to the dealer with the car, they take your driver's license and the registration to make sure you own it, check the VIN, and order a key. If you need the whole assembly, you request the "blade" that opens the doors and locks the glovebox as you will not have it from your old key. The new assembly arrives in 3-4 days and they test it out and send you on your way.

BTW, ALL replacement keys are now the new chrome style which is a big plus.

yeah I got a chrome one also and with keyless go,I know it was over 250 and had a few other things done so I don't remember exactly what it was,Ill look for the slip.

If you leave your car there have them sync it,it takes sooo long for the car to program a keyless go key.

That's horrible. I have Keyless Go also. I am presuming that the price included programming?

I just paid $230 w/ tax and programming for keyless go. Be sure to have the car AND proof of ownership at the dealer when you go to order it - that is a security procedure MB has.

Yep it comes pre-programed and ready to go. It does not include lube for the rape though. Just a heads up
