Not a big deal, but couldn't find it under the Search

I replaced my battery and all seems to be well except my automatic windows. They roll down automatically, but don't roll up automatically, I have to hold up the switch the whole time. I'm wondering if there's any other little quirks wrong with the car I just haven't found yet...Again, not a big deal, but any help is appreciated...Thanks--Andy

I am not sure if I understand your dilemma. The windows you have to hold the button for them to go all the way up, they do not do it automatically, only down they go automatically.

That's incorrect, they should auto up as well. Are you sure you are feeling the second 'click' when you pull up on the switch?

You must reset the windows / sunroof.
All you do is hold the button in the down position for 5 seconds after the window opens, then hold the button in the up position for 5 seconds after the window closes.
Same for sun roof.

Very correct It took me over 1/2 hour of reading through the manual to find out how to do this back when I had my C-Class. Now it's as fast as a search query

I think the older model E-Classes (W210 and earlier) had the auto feature for rolling down the windows only. The newer E-Classes have auto function for up and down.
