Can you pull this for e55's?

Expecting/hoping mid to upper 50's based on online MB cpo cars I've seen.

Also, becuase,as we all know, new 212 body style, 55 TT motor coming and in a couple months, 2011's hit the showroom floor.These along with the economy, make this a VERY narrow target audience car, IMO.

if your in the market for a 63 just wait 6 months,you will save 20 grand.It happened to the e55s when the e63 came out.They all took a HUGE hit.

also I think mb was taking 20k off msrp at one point because of our economy so maybe go to a dealer and low ball them 30k on a new one.They know the next model is around the corner and might let one go.

Unfortunately most dealers DON'T know anything about a 55TT engine or new model, and I believe that they don't know. The salesmen seem like complete morons for the most part.

Most consumers don't know any 55TT engine is coming either. I agree the prices will drop considerably in the next year once something official is released, which will be great for the rest of us looking for a nice deal

I believe that would be true if you were talking about the average consumer looking at 350's.
However, this caliber of car is a whole different story and the "enthusiast" that is the potential buyer for this car, would do his/her research and be very much aware of all market factors IMO.

Took the words out of my mouth. My friend can go to Manheim to get a car for me when and if I'm ready to do this. Good to know these prices are dropping like a rock. I find this board very exciting and posts like this are extremely helpful. For guys like me that are on the fence about buying a used E63, this site is invaluable. I'm living vicariously through all your experiences. Thanks to the poster for posting these Manheim prices. You're doing us a true service here. If I wait 6 months, I look forward to even better, shockingly reasonable prices on 07's.

I guess adding on retail mark up it's right around where I thought it would be. Could be worse. Yeah, I imagine by next year you'll find some retailing for less than $40K...
