Prototype Eurocharged/D&D ported TB and blower houisng pics
In the quest for more power,I have taken the Eurocharged 82mm TB upgrade and had a professional max port the TB,adapter, and rear blower inlet that is included in there kit.
We were able to take the tb shaft from 8.9mm to 6.5mm along with taking out all casting flash.
Similar porting modifications on Magancharger/Kenne Bell LS engines has shown between 30-35hp to the wheels and Modular Mustangs with the roots style blowers seem to pick up between 30-40hp at the wheels.Also,both cars seem to pick up between 1.5-2.5psi of boost with the porting.
My car will be the guinea pig.I am running the mods in my sig and make 530/607.Eurocharged reports gains of between 30-35rwhp with the non ported tb,add the porting and we are looking at another 25rwhp and that is being SUPER conservative.I know its semi bench racing but 2 other cars with roots style blowers gain the same hp,I dont see the Mercedes being any different!!!

I will try to get installed in the next week or so and then its off to the dyno for a retune and hopefully 585+rwhp is in the cards,I think it will be no problem at all.All with STOCK exhaust and thanks to Eurocharged!!!
Retail pricing on the porting will be VERY reasonable,esp for the HP gained.We might even be able to work somthing out on porting the stock tb and blower housing if the gains/and hp savings are worth it.

Just can't emphasize enough how hard it is to get to that level. To eek out 570, it felt like the old tv days when you had to move around the rabbit ears to get reception. It was like we were standing on one leg at the dyno with foil wrapped around wiper blade and when it came into balance we screamed Now Now!! Hit it!!
