My 1/4 drag times, not so good... why?
First time at the track, heres my results. Any suggestions on launching would be great lol
These times got worse, I guess heatsoak was an issue. Running on 20s doesnt help either I guess... Got roasted by a turbo civic on the last run I ran 13.1 lol
R/T 1.51
60' 2.12 (I know horrible)
1/4 12.72
mph 111.87
This was in S mode on auto, comfort mode, lowered, ESP ON
I tried, S mode on auto, sport 2, lowered, esp off... results were horrible lol

first time i took the 63 to the track that day i ran a 12.735 which was great because i had really worn tires.
So I'm guessing your actually in an ok range especially considering heat soak on the S/C'ers.

ive seen stock 55's run 11.9's on 20's . YOur MPH's are low . tips and tricks will get you lower. practice makes perfect .
Dont read into the stock 11's passes , they are few and far between .
Did u splash with race fuel ? How much gas was in the tank ? Did u empty the trunk ? what outside temps where u racing in ?

traps are normal for the summer heat.Heres what I do when I run mine,
tranny reset a day before
car lowered,S-1 and traction on and I try S-D
Ice the s/c between runs and you will get better as you track it more

Replace your Intercooler pump with the new OEM one. NOT the CM30. The sixth generation of the OEM MB pump is MUCH better than the CM30.
My car with a bad IC pump went from 106mph trap speed to 116mph and I have a 4400 pound SL55.
Don't shut your car off in the staging lanes or your IAT temps will skyrocket and ONLY driving the car will bring them down. Idling won't help even if your IC pump is running.
There is a method to drag racing the supercharged AMG's.

I trapped 117.54 the other day in 70d weather and my car is stock pulley atm.
its the weather and his wheels.welcome to our heatsoaking E55s bro,you will learn to love 50 d weather soon lol.
ps I just ordered a snow performance stage 2 meth kit to keep the temps down in the summer time.

Time seems completely normal for summer..
a 12.7 on a 2.1 60ft, that will drop to 12.40's with a better 60

Thanks guys...
Whats the best to launch, brake and tap the gas?
How do you reset the tranny?
I have been reading the johnson cm30 is the best pump especially if you want to wire it to run constantly.. Wheres the best place to get one? Would I have to change the heat exchanger too?
Next time around I think I will switch out the 20s, take all the crap out of the car, and run a better octane, and some how improve that bloody 60' lol

turn key all the way to the right to the spot before it starts the car and press gas to the floor and wait 5 seconds.
keep foot on gas and turn key all the way to the left and keep it there while pressing your foot wot for 2 min.
I do it twice to make sure.
get the updated oem pump when yours dies, they work great and so far so good mine hasnt dies yet.

Why not just get the CM90? It's only a few bucks extra and flows much more and is more durable. It's recommended if you plan on adding a 5Gal rear resevoir as the CM30 will not be strong enough to pump the intercoolant all the way to back and then back around. The Code 3 H/E for the C32 is actually BIGGER than the one made for the E55. Bar and Plate design is also better than Tube and Fin.

Just bought a meziere pump and that thing is sold heavy duty, almost seven pounds. You might try that because I heard great things even though mine is not installed yet.
