Do I need a camber kit after lowering via MB Star SDS?

I had 20" Euro RS63 wheels for about 2 years. They got badly dented and unrepairable from pot holes. I'm getting Mandrus Velo wheels on 19x8.5 ET30 up front & 19x9.5 ET35 in rear. Is this setup the right size for staggered 19" wheels for an E55?

Also, I plan to lower via Star. Will I need a camber kit for optimal alignment? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I almost bought those wheels a while back before I decided to get forgestars. Post some pictures once they are installed I am dying to see what they look like on an e55. BTW, I know nothing about offsets or I would help you out.

Yes you will, depending on how tall your tires are and how low you drop it.

I used the MB Art arms on mine and I think EVOsport also has something out. I hate the Kmac knuckles.

Dan you will have to check with Brad but I think what you see pictured is the toe link. Yes, they do make camber arms and have a sticky with pics. I have heard no member feedback at all so dunno about that part but would be very curious since EVO understands track needs.

No you do not need a camber kit. You WILL need to have the toe redone on the real wheels since the car will toe in when you lower it

Same will work accross all suspension types. MBArts seems to be the only name in the game for adjustable camber arms but I could have sworn there was more coming out left and right...

Does it? Do you know by how much? I wonder if it gets to 0 under load?

As AMGPilot posted, you can easily try checking / adjusting the toe in your lowered state, since the arms are adjustable already. Then get camber arms if that is still an issue

Yes Jangy it does, anyone wanting to engineer a solution would already know by how much.

Camber and Toe curves are easy to measure, and some have....

Here's a hint, For lower control arm toe links, Rear steer will toe out in bump and toe in in rebound, Front steer is the opposite.

Why do you keep things so personal? I never claimed to involved in the design in any way. I was a guinea pig and gave feedback. MBArts does all of their own designs. Jay chats with me but I am not nearly that qualified.

No biggie dude, but you may wanna let it go. I didn't make MHP suck...

Doesn't read like he insinuated anything. He said straight up that MHP sucks.

Im interested for my W212 too! The car is dropped and the toe is set but it still pulls to the right and the camber is visually negative.

W212 and W211's are the same for this right?

Yes and no. Your pulling is from the front end. Take it in and it will get fixed. I had mine so neutral that it would follow a crack in the highway.

While you are there get the final print out as well just to see where your camber is.

Damn, I just remembered you swaped out front springs. They may not give you free alignment for that, but you got contacts and the cost is nil for you anyways.

I just had two alignments done within a few months span. The second was performed because I replaced stock front suspension bolts the MB adjustable bolts, adding caster to the passenger side and I increased camber on both sides.
Anyway, the rear suspension did toe out with the car lowered. AMGPilot's statement is confirmed in regards to the rear suspension.
Being that I changed the bolts in the front end, which in turn changed the toe, I have no idea if the front would have done the opposite.

Your car will pull to the side with less caster. Add caster to the passenger side, I just went through this on mine.
