The problem here is that the proof itself will end-up being controversial due to the he said/he said scenario. Even if the car had braided lines installed or was nitrous-ready at some point in the past, one must be able to prove the "bad" tuner used nitrous on a specific run which is now being claimed to sell their products. Of course, the tuner then may also claim they did or did not use nitrous, which leaves us with the almost impossible task of verifying whether nos (or any other "secret" mod) was used or not used during a specific run.

All of this is hypothetically speaking of course....

+1 I think everyone exaggerates a little bit and or maybe tweaks things to make numbers read higher. Either way, please disclose this seller so we can move forward with the facts and possibly protect buyers if proven true.

I think the right thing to do, considering this is a forum, is to let us all know the name of the tuner that you're talking about. That's what this forum is here for, IMO, so we can help each other out. And then, obviously, we'll have the tuner come in and defend themselves. Hopefully (for the tuner's sake) this will all have been one big misunderstanding. I think we all know how fast word spreads and how fast word of mouth can lead to the end of a company.

With that in mind, we should all refrain from any namecalling or immature ****. Just stick to the facts.

I Have a 7 year old car now and still have to custom make most my mods, as "the shops/tunrs/sponsors get run off".. Kind of self destructive , if you ask me.. AMG must be the only mass produced performance car with this negative aftermarket scenario..
