Now thats its colder out we can have some fun with our bigger pulled cars.Im also in the process of taking the renntech airbox out,for some reason I think its making me run richer,I lost 2 mph at the track with it on and so did my brother on his e55 when he had it.

ohh well here is a quick pull I just did, enjoy bros!!!

Out curiosity, you posted a video before of your car losing traction at the slightest tap of the pedal but in this run you had no slippage? I assume the only difference is tire setup between both runs.

Hate to say this but my gut feeling was right.sometimes you add mods and you want to think the car is faster but I lost power with the airbox.I just threw the stock box back on it it pulls harder.its not in my head either.I went from 118.70 traps to 116 before I added pulley and now at 120-121.

I will conferm with trap speeds next wed with stock box

109 oct vs pump and I kept the traction control on in this run.I put down 50whp more with race gas lol

that and in this video I litterally beat the crap out of it for like 20 min before recording,Im sure it was heatsoaked also.

btw what intake box are you running?I never got a full mod list of your car

Do you have a tune?? With all those mods you usually need a tune...when i had my Z and all boltons i gained maybe 10hp, but after a tune it jumped up significantly

Sometimes it is best to go with what the factory put in these cars. They do not spend tens of millions of dollars in research to have a car which does not perform optimally.

Here is my mod list: My best time to date was ran with these mods less the methanol and 180 instead of the 185.

Renntech airbox/python tubes
Renntech 82mm TB
OE Tune custom tune
ASP 185 but most likely switching back to the 180
Floored Fab LT's
Floored rear 3.5 gallon tank
Code 3 HE
Methanol Injection

You may want to start by going back to the stock tubes vs pythons before removing the RT airbox. I honestly believe there's some power to be gained with a larger airbox but each their own.
