I was just forwarded some of dodger's 1/8th mile traps:

100.02
100.10
100.17

That's hauling in the 1/8th! Think about how ridiculous that is, how many cars can't get to those speeds in the quarter?

Way to go dodger!

Every record posted is set in cooler air, no one sets records in the summer as I'm sure you know. All the stock C6Z06 10.9 runs and Viper ACR runs by Ranger and Jamie F. were done in the same kind of air.

Last I talked to MHP they had 8 or more cars running their ported heads. The gains are claimed at 18rwhp for an otherwise stock vehicle. Honestly as good as these heads appear to be that's a large gain all else being equal. Now where they will really shine is when paired to their cams and headers, etc.

We've also found in the past few weeks how restrictive the stock air inlets and air boxes are, and we haven't seen any ported heads or cams paired with a revised inlet aka RENNtech or Gruppe M.

I think as a 63 owner we are finally sampling what's possible with solid mods and should be hopeful for an even brighter future.
So you are saying mythis and dodger are 2 of the 8 running MHP heads?

So much for all the talk of how wimpy the 7 speed is compared to the 5 speed slushers.

So you 63 guys are having NO trouble with trannys or issues popping up running all that power. Think AMG pulled one over on us putting out those super low HP/Trq limit numbers.

Cash no issue, would love a final mod of trying to fool the 55 ECU into accepting a 7 speed tranny.

We had a rocky relationship but Andy always said it to me....the 55 platform was a nightmare compared to the 63 on modding. Guess he was right. What can you say sometimes but WOW!

Jim, they pulled one over on us,I've literally made dozens, possibly over 100 passes putting down 620+rwhp on nitrous with wrinkle wall Mickey Thompsons and not had even a hint of trans, rear-end or axle trouble. That kind of power + traction is what eats up those components, thiese things can't be broken, I would have found a way already eaither on a road course or at the strip. If I recall MB claimed 700 crank HP was the limit on these trannys, I think I've dis-proven that theory.

[SIZE="7"]Had a blast today guys!! congrats on your 10 second pass Mike

Same to you Haji, BK as well as Randi's (E63 MHP TUNE) for breaking into the 11s bro..was great seeing an E63 make a 11 second pass for the first time

For the haters stop paying attention to records and crap and just run your cars, its fun trust me, stop doubting other people's cars just because you spent tons of money and you are not as fast as the other guy..Maybe your car needs to get dialed in

These cars in case make @ least 20 passes a day each and even 6 -7 passes back to back so i do not see how a car with NOS will make that many passes on a day and back to back to back to back not to mention we have been together @ a few rentals and the times are where they are supposed to be with improvement on each and every time out..These cars are some crazy fast litttle creatures I used to think they were not fast but

I have a non-hating question.

Are these cars running in full street trim or stripped interiors for massive weight savings? Every 100lbs reduction gains near a tenth, so stripping out 2-300lbs of interior is worth some time.

The 100lb = .1 rule was formulated for cars in 3300-3500lb range. For a 4100-4150lb car (C63= 3950 + 150-200lb driver on average) you're looking at a smaller gain per 100lbs lost. Something in the .06-.07 S per 100lb range.
