Car is Haunted....... not very loud screech noise from right side of engine when off

Car is Haunted....... not very loud screech noise from right side of engine when off

Tonight I walked outside to look at the snow and heard a low volume high pitched screech noise at about a 45 second interval. After looking around I bent down at my E55 grill and heard it coming from the engine.

Popped the hood and sounds lke it is coming from the right side of the enine near the front

Any ideas ? Car was off for about 2 hours.

I started the car and didn't hear it again

Had that before bro. Isn't that friggin weird!! We maybe thought it was blower pressure slowly being relieved or something. Haven't heard it in awhile though. Seemed to be during the summer.

mine does that too, but I could of swore it was coming from the back of the car, trunk area.

Mine does this, it's a mid range type hum sound... After some research, it's coming from a "bosch" pump located directly behind the headlight... No idea why it stays on sometimes, it's very intermittent...
