I imagine so, the baud rate of this bluetooth adapter seems to be pretty impressive. You figure it's producing enough information wirelessly to support all of the car's params REAL TIME.
I was just being silly about the Android STAR app.
I can just see the commercial now though, A guy lowering his $100K Mercedes, and then saying "WE'VE GOT AN APP FOR THAT TOO!!!"

For you guys looking for mounts...check out Proclip.
They make some awesome stuff...ridiculously well made...appears "permanently" mounted when in the car, but in reality...you can remove it.
I had the center column side mount in my C32 and loved it.
But since I now have the E55 and POS iPhone...and Blackberry...

That looks nice Pullejo.
I purchased a universal one in case I get a different droid at some point. It has a vent mount, 3M dash mount, and solid windshield mount. It feels like a well built mount for the price.

I got home about an hour ago, pulled the adapter out of the mailbox, plugged it in and went out for a drive. It works great, and I like the little telltales that show teh maximum value for each pid. I did a 0-95mph pull and saw IAT's hit 138 degrees with a 29 degree ambient temp, so it's time for a little bit of water injection. I even cleared a pending DTC for an evaporative emission code(very small leak), and it worked flawlessly. Definitely the coolest thing I've bought in a while.

Proclip Plus Kuda Mount
Heres what a proclip mount would look like:
The proclip holds the Samsung captivate, and the kuda mount holds the proclip mount. No drilling on the center console. Looks and works better than an A/C Clip or windshield suction cup....
The Torque app would fit nicely on it....

Does anyone know if the accelerometer can be calibrated in an angle like the phone is when sitting in that cradle?
If so, that is pretty slick.

WHOAAA..... I'm an IT Sales consultant. I just looked, and it looks like I have a Android Tablet 7" that I would be able to sell in the 150 range. Manufacturer is "Archos" and the part # is 501673. Currently I have 164 of these in stock.

The mount that I got also attaches to the side of the console similar to the one the other gentleman posted. I do like the fact that if I get a new phone I won't have to buy a new mount.
Now if I deceide to get one of these http://galaxys2.samsungmobile.com/ht...ification.html I may have to get a different mount.

That is something that would make this that much better-->BIGGER GUAGES.
That's also where it could actually make for a pretty cool HUD as well.
Hud on a 4.3" screen just isnt appealing.... but 7" may make it a bit more usable.

I can't wait to see what you think of the Torque app running on a 7" Screen.

There on sale now for 250 at best buy and I think thats very fair for what your getting. It even has a 3g sim slot so you can buy a prepaid cell and use that sim to make it work as a phone too.
I has the same snapdragon cpu as the evo 4g cell but clocked a little slower.

Damn this definately would've been a $40 well spent. Cheaper than a freaking tank of gas! Too bad I just sold my spare android phone too. The developer should've definately made an app for both the android and iphone to make more money
