E55 Stock Wheels/tires with spacers
Unlike most members I love the stock wheels on my beast. I've been wanting to bring out the wheels a little with spacers, but unfortunately I don't know enough about the fit to make a decision on what size I can get away with without rubbing. I have stock wheels/tires size on and want them to align with the fenders as much as possible without rubbing.
Has anyone ever done this with stock wheels? Any advice/pics would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I just read your PM sorry I didn't get a chance to respond but I guess I'll post here with the info so others know as well. Here's in info on my setup:
- stocks wheels with 255/35/18 front 265/35/18 rear
- 13mm spacers from RPM (they are a vendor on this forum)
- 13mm extended lug bolts.
I would not go any bigger on the spacers unless you plan on doing fender work as the clearence is minimal and the wheels sit really flush up against the fender. as for the front, since I am not selling the beast anymore Ill be ordering a set of 13mm spacers for the front again. the set that was initally sent to me from RPM had fitment issues up front but they took care of that right away.
Its a great mod if you want the flush look w/o spending thousand on a new set of wheels/tires. now CLS500 wheels will also have the same effect as they look the same, but are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with a lower offset.

So with the CLS wheels I wouldn't need spacers and they'll flush with the fenders? If thats the case, I would way rather do that than get spacers. I cringe at the thought of spacers because I've had a bad experience with them on my previous beast. Thanks guys
