I like how you can see a blue M3 trying to keep up in the 2nd run, as the Audi was pulling ahead and the E55 pulling farther ahead. Great kill.

Nice kill! Goes to show the 55k motor is no joke. This is why I don't like the 63 motors, as much potential as they have, it's not the same. The 5 spd has to do with it too, the 7 spd would have been used in the SL65 if it could handle the torque without modifications so I'd say the cheaper and higher tuning potential lies with the 55k.

I had a couple runs with a new Procharged 5.0 Mustang in Mexico last weekend. I got two lengths on him and lost track of him. There was a Turboed C6 on my left that was starting to catch up at the time this was going down. The 5.0 guy was *****ty. I think he was pouting about getting his **** handed to him by a freaking merc. A slow SL at that. The turboed C6 had a car length on me when we got out of it at about 130. We hung out and talked cars for the rest of the night.

A gorilla engine would have put that baby down as one of the all time greats. Such a great presence when you see it coming down the road smiling...only to put the whimpiest of whimpy V10s in it (the initial engine before everyone rioted). She should have been 600hp MIN from the factory.
