Ran against a few cars in these past few days...

Won some...lost others.

1) 2011 CTS-V w/ ECU tune and Intake ( 6AT ) = I won by about 1.5-2 car lengths.

2) 2010 CTS-V w/ ECU tune, Intake, upper and lower pulleys ( don't ask, it's what he said ) and larger heat exchanger ( 6AT ) = I lost by about 1 car. He also ran 11.2@122mph w/ drag radials.

3) 2011 Mustang GT500 w/ K&N, 2.59 pulley and tune ( 6MT ) = Just barely lost, he had his front wheel in my front bumper.

4) 2008 BMW 335 w/ Tune, downpipes, larger intercooler, intakes and meth ( 6MT ) = Utterly killed him...at least 3+ cars from a 40mph gear roll.

5) 2003 or 2004 Corvette ( C5 w/ 405hp LS6 ) w/ Tune, headers, exhaust, cam, rockers, intake, and a few other mods ( He put 450whp N/A and is 6MT ) = I lost by 1.5 cars.

I'll tell you something, those CTS-V's are monsters when modded. Even stock they ain't no joke. I was not impressed, however, with the GT500....I thought it would annihilate me...yet we just hung until he bested me by a few inches.

I don't know what it is with 335i and M3 guys. They always pull up next to me and I always pummel them. It's not even funny how bad they look

Ha...I forgot an E92 M3 ( stock ) that I raced...it wasn't even funny. I literally let off and got on it again and passed him TWICE in the same run. How awesome is that? LOL.

Shocked that I lost or that it wasn't worse? His car weighed 900 less than my car.

Ive beaten two Z06 vettes on the highway
But with vettes, their numbers sway so much depending on who is at the helm.

Tbal,
Canucks arent looking so hot tonight.

Isnt it something that a car made back in 03 (granted his is modded) can still keep up with the newer cars or today

You must have raced a C5 Z06. With the mods you said he had and his rwhp, I am surprised he did not walk you harder. They run HARD on the highway with a HCI.

On the ctsv, upper and lower pulleys means he has both the bigger crank pulley and smaller supercharger pulley. Nice runs bro, those cars are nasty when setup right.

Yes, it was a Z06.

I believe he put down 550ish whp. He ran 11.2@122mph weighing 4300lbs without him in the car.

Those are not very good #'s for a CTS-V with upper and lower pullies. Most upper and lower pulley cars are well over 600rwhp and pushing 130mph 1/4 mph traps. Then again I am not sure what timing is being pulled if the conditions down there are particulary hot.
