PS2 crack discovery
I went through this inner tread wear thing with Goodyear Assymnetical F1s, but I didn't expect it on Michelin PS2s. I've had my car aligned at the MB dealership and rarely run it in lowered postion, and I still get accelerated wear on the inside of the front two tires.
I had the rims off yesterday to check on my brake disc thicknesses and took the opportunity to inspect the tires. This is an early stage "fail" waiting to happen:
As you can see, there is a nice crack forming even though there is substantial tread depth left on the rest of the tire surface. This tire needs replacement in the very near future.

Good luck. Shame to see this on PS2s. My contis and falken fk452 were ok although I did not like the falkens. We will see how the Hankook V12 do.

Well if you look at the inside shoulder of the tire (just left of center in the photo) you can see graining which was caused by under inflation. The dotted wear line to the right of your damage also is they type of wear that one get's from under inflation

I wish it were the result of under inflation, but it's not. Tire pressures are my car are checked weekly without fail. My former GoodYear F1 Assymetricos wore in the same exact location, and they weren't run underinflated either.

Have also had the same problem and is nothing to do with tyre pressure . More likely than not a tracking/ camber problem .

What pressures are you running? It definitely could be a camber issue. It could be caster as well. All depends on your driving.
What is that crack/puncture in the upper right of your pic.
