Went to the track this weekend...

Trapping only 111, tires alone will NOT do that.
Something seems off, like the dreaded IC pump, as 111 is LOW.
And by the way, ANYTHING less than 2.0 60' time on street tires is VERY good my friend.

And stock E55 have gone into the VERY low 12's, and one has done 11's. Check around please
You might want to talk with a few of my friends here about their times with their CLS55's.
And 118 into the HIGH 11's is possible with DR's. Not HIGHLY possible, but nevertheless possible.

"The CLS55 takes only 4.2 seconds to run to 60 mph, and the quarter-mile falls in 12.5 seconds at 115 mph. The E55 in last year's comparison test got to 60 in 4.3 seconds and posted an identical 12.5-second quarter at a marginally faster 116 mph. "

Keep in mind that track prep does NOT effect MPH to ANY huge degree but WILL effect ET WILDLY.
Guess what, I have been doing that for OVER 25 years and have seen a few in my days.
For the OP: While 111MPH is only slighlty off my friend, I would suggest looking at the IC pump, as HIGH IAT's will start to pull timing and dump fuel.

The fastest stock cls55 on dragtimes is 12.28, and the majority of them are running around 12.5 so you have nothing to worry about.. Maybe you need to look up your stuff MRAMG1..
1.I wouldnt consider 250 lbs "VERY" close my friend..
2. Im aware of what stock E55s can do, but thanks for the heads up..
3.For the first time at the track in his cls55 id say 12.5 @ 111 is very good, and I think im all set with talking to your friends of what times they run..
4. I know my stuff..
5. Lastly if your trapping 118 in an E55, I would hope you can break into the 11s or you need some work on driving..
2. You are welcome

3. Again something that I can agree with. Except for that friends thing

4.

5. MANY variable here, track prep, tires, driver skill, etc, etc. As far as hoping, there are MANY E55's that track OVER 118 in the 12's, with 1 in the 121's. But again you know your stuff.

After all, EVERYONE that has EVER dragged a MB MUST register it at dragtimes

Yep, there has only been 13 passes ever made with CLS55's
You guys all heard it here first by Aknight
To the OP sorry about this dribble.

I still dont even understand what point your trying to make? First you say his pump is dead, which i almost guarantee is not true.. Then your trying to argue with me about the weight.. I mean im not even sure you have said anything worth while in this thread.. I guess thats why your apologizing for all this "dribble" though..

Dragtimes not reliable or something buddy?? Its called a sample size, when did I ever say these results were the only results out there? What point are you even trying to make? I mean the majority of CLS55s are running around 12.5 @ 112, thats all I was trying to say.. And your just turning this into a pissing contest..

My best for my 08 E63 was 12.73 at 111. From what I can find on the interwebs, the E63 is supposed to be low 12's, whatever that means. 12.7 is not LOW 12's, so I chock it up to inexperience and stock tires. Temps were cool that day too, around low 70's.

Need drag radials asap.

.... but mainly stock.. with the exception of mufflers and a custom intake. Suprisingly my best run so far is on street tires..
