E55 for sale or trade for SUV ...
It's official... Looking for straight trade ... my e55 for a GX470 or Enclave or MB R500 or Acadia or MDX or Q7 or mercedes GL or LX570 or Land cruiser or CX9 .... just need 7 seat SUV !!! I don't want to go to the dealer an deal with sales people (for now) easy as trade, I am not parting out... no wheels, no bumper, no mirrors, no tail lights, no headlights, no rear panel... will go with E63 full conversion (every single part genuine OEM MB) , no problems at all, all records from mb dealer (all documentation in hand), no accidents, clean car fax, engine stock, no mods, never race. 104,000 hwy miles (hwy miles can be probe with maintenance records from dealer) today.... it is a sad day, not easy to let it go....

If your need is for YOUNG kids, you need to be talking mini-van. It's the only way to go. Been there, done that with the SUVs and the mini-vans and it is no contest.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
LOL can't blame you for not wanting to deal with salespeople. We have a GX470 and must say that it is chiseled from granite. UnGodly reliable and we take it off road very often, it's 4wd being top notch. Not sure about 7 seating though as the rears are jump seats, so FYI. Best of luck on your search.

you are right the only problem is I don't like mini-vans ... the reason of my sale/trade is because my father pass away last month, my mother will be with me more often, I already have 3 cars, I have plans to go out with my family + mom every weekend to distract my mother (grandkids make her happy), so I need a 6-7 passenger SUV, I know if I get the SUV first I see my self keeping the E55 at the end... with 5 cars in my driveway, for two drivers? big no no. but I open to any trade (6-7 passenger trade) could be a mini van.... ...

VW & Porsche do NOT have 6-7 passenger.
I bought a MB GL450 about a year ago and love it. Other than haul big stuff, it does everything really well and has what many consider best in class 3rd row seats. I prefer the ride/handling of the BMW but the 3rd row is useless and there is little storage. The Audi is pretty nice too but underpowered. I did not drive the Buick. The others are nice too, but too truckish for me.
The GL has been fantastic and even tows my 5000lb trailer with ease. Only thing I don't like is that it is softly sprung and sometimes "floaty". The ADS suspension would help but hard to find on a 450, but standard on the 550 I think. That said, it is always composed and confident when cornering and has surprisingly high limits and playful handling.
Good luck!

I take the kids camping in it almost every weekend, and it really is a treat to drive. I have to admit, it even is quick 0-50, for a 5200+ lb tank
