Dealer asking $26k over sticker on an 03 E55 w/500+ miles
Consumers must do their part to control prices in the marketplace.
If no one buys over MSRP, dealers stop asking and drop their prices.

As for the $20k markup...I don't understand who can be this frivalous...whether it be $20k over sticker for an e55 or $10k over sticker for an EVOVIII...
It just adds to the sentiment that dealers are, by and large, parasites.

don't know if I'll wait for the 7G. gonna wait a little while just to see what's shakin'. But to be honest, an E55 with 469hp really doesn't need 7 speeds!!!

It actually says that the high torque version will be available for the V12 and the Maybach. The supercharged V8 aren't mentioned.
If this helps: today I heard the rumor that AMG introduces the new 7-speed auto tranny with the "new" engine generation (4valve supercharged V8) due around 2005.
Actually I really don't know if the high torque engines need a 7-speed auto but a few years ago, people probably weren't even thinking about 5-speed auto trannies.

I agree, the E55 will not see the 7G for the 2004 MY. mp
