Weistec Engineering M113K Supercharger Upgrade...Progress

Maybe I am crazy and not thinking logically here but it seems to make sense to me
It is like how many people on here have an E63 compared to an E55 and of those people how many have bought practically everything possible for the car that is available? The way I see it is if you want to look at it the way of an E55 version for $10k instead of $15k for the 63 and why would they want to do it, well they would probably sell double in the E55 flavor. Even if they didn't sell quite double they are definitely going to sell more of them and say they sell 10 to 63 owners and 15 to 55k engine owners, we are talking $150k in sales vs $150k in sales as you see identical. And I realistically think they would sell far more to "us" making a larger margin between units sold for the different engine platform.
I doubt they will sell 15 kits at $10K price tag. For $10K you can actually upgrade from stock to stage 4 or 5 include the SC pulley kit.
When doing castings like I see in the picture there is a lot of upfront design and tooling costs, but the per piece price comes down significantly over doing it another way. Seeing that those look like real cast parts and not rapid prototype parts says to me they have already spent the money on the tooling unless they are rapid prototype.
Anyway, I know what it costs to design and manufacture a supercharger kit and unless there is some real magic in power gains over the stock system it does not make a lot of sense. We have seen the stock system pushed to some very high reliable power gains and it appears you can easily go past the point of reliability with the stock system so where is the advantage in a new expensive system?
I can tell you it does not look like they have more costs in developing a system then I do and they sell theirs for more than twice the price. If they can get 50-100 folks to pony up for a new system, especially at their prices they are making good money on it and then it is all profit from there.
I just kind of doubt there will be a huge benefit in switching systems.

Come on, you think middle east is different much than US or other part of the modern world? Yeah we can buy, we have some money, but we are normal people working and having enough money to live.

The CLK 63 black series is running our 3.0L Supercharger System, Built engine, bullet proof transmission, carbon fiber driveshaft, and CV axles. Thes
e upgrades produce a reliable 850 WHP on 109 octane.
Curious if they had any kind of failures in the testing and what kind of power levels they decided were going to be good on the stock engine and hope it starts with a 7 lol.

850whp with their 3 liter supercharger which we will soon have available to us. Not the same engine, yes but it isn't going to be that different. Curious what kind of boost the car runs to obtain that power. I bet these things are going to be fun.
nice! but i wonder why they havent posted it on dragtimes but then again just goes to show that there are a lot of fast cars out there that arent on dragtimes... (edit: just noticed the timeslip as i watched the vid on their facebook and its the fastest trap, but not fastest MB time as it was 10.2 1/4, a far cry from the slr 9.68... but with that trap they should hit 9s no prob )
fyi there was a new audi record on dragtimes from a 2003 s3 running 8.844 sec @ 160.940
but then again there is john sleath driving the audi 80 in the 7's that isnt on dragtimes anyways would be nice to see one of these s/c projects actually end up on one of our cars within the next year, i am tired of waiting

I love the E55 and I am sure with 700whp I could love it all over again and forget about a 900whp Jeep.

Have you ever driven a lowered Jeep, it certainly does not behave at all like a suv. They are so sick, and demands alot of attention, where ever he pulls up, folks are like
Not to mention they have a stout aftermarket with good pricing on parts. I think you would be very happy if you made the transition.
-3.0 sc $3k
-ic with by pass valve $1.5
-fuel rail $500
-injector $1k
-82mm tb $1k
Those alone are already at $7k!! Stop dreaming, it'll be easily $10k+.
The one thing in this package that got my attention is how they got away without the sc clutch. If we can eleminate the sc clutch on our engine we can gain some substantial hp by going to a lighter and much smaller sc pulley.

Come on guys!
