Warped front rotors E63 W211
Anyone experienced this after track days?
Happen to me two times. OEM rotors and pads both times. Getting expensive in the long run L
What kind of pads do you guys recommend? I don’t care if they are noisy…
Thanks!

OEM pads are not intended for track. I would look at Pagids Orange or Yellow. Keep in mind that if you use these everyday you will sound like an 18 wheeler when you are stopping. Wear is conditioned on the track, your skills, your electronic nanny, etc.
On rotors I can't help.

Endless MX-72 -- The Ultimate Semi-metallic street and track compound
Ceramics are known to be one of the most vital and essential compounds that influence braking capacity. Every material has been carefully chosen for the MX72 in order to produce minimal noise and dust while producing high friction at lower temperatures. The MX72 improves upon the ever-popular CC-X compound in that braking stability is improved at higher temperatures. And yet, the MX72 actually decreases rotor wear. Even pedal feel, which is already typically great with semi-metallic material pads, was further improved upon. The MX72 is the ultimate, dual-purpose, street / light track compound.
Endless ME-20 -- Race Pads
Competition pad with high and stable mu levels at high temperatures while maintaining low wear. Developed for highly competitive touring cars focused on driving technique. Suitable for both street and track conditions. Popular in BTCC, WTCC, PWRC, International Rally.
both options are in stock ready to be shipped.

No offense, but dual purpose is not the way to go. Dedicated for each is the only way.
I know off one person, similar to the OP, that ran OEMs on the track and they lasted 1 day. Pagid Orange lasted him 5 track days.
You might want to tailor your suggestion that way instead of just rehashing company marketing propaganda.
Sorry
Just my helpful $0.02

Now obviously having a dedicated track pads when on the track would be completely ideal, but for most that is not a very viable option. The MX72's allow you to drive to and from the track with no changes, or hassles.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
P.S.
Don't forget; OP was also asking about longer lasting rotors.
P.P.S.
Track to me means road course with numerous laps in a 15-20 min session. What does it mean to you? Maybe OP should clarify. Based on his post I think I know his answer.

So do track dedicated pads. You just sound like an 18 wheeler til they are heated up.

I would say with your current track schedule you should not be using your OEM pads, also since your doing constant back to back days you may want to consider dedicated track pads... pad swap is very easy with your calipers... however if you do not want deal with this hassle i still believe the MX72 pads would be suitable for your needs... Also i hope your not simply replacing your factory 2pc rotors with another set of OEM rotors... might also want to look into getting correctly vented slotted rotors...

RacingBrake.com has a better rotor for track use.
I will be putting these on my car this Christmas. I will be using evosport 2 piece on the rear.
That being said, I have never had a disk warp, and I have turned the calipers bronze from the heat. With the RacingBrake disk material you can more safely run an aggressive pad. Evosport warns you away from anything EBC.
You should only concern yourself with the fronts. The rears just go stock pad.
I have mentioned the rotors.
My pads will be stock for now.
Titanium shims (the rear does not need them, but they were a set).
Evosport brake lines.
MB brake fluid, it is damn good stuff.
I plan a big DIY write up.

I am with James on this...
A dual purpose street/track ENDLESS pad would work great... I have a good bit of time on the ENDLESS stuff and used it for daily driving and some hard track use.. Was very impressed.... No need for 2 pad sets...
EDIT* I should add that the experience isn't with AMG vehicles....

Stian, make sure you give the car plenty of cool down time after your hot laps don't just drive staight into the pits and park the car when the brakes are still hot this is what warps rotors it has Nothing to do with you pad choice, ask your head instructor at the drivers meet in the morning if you can do an extra cool down lap,

To the OP, before you go and replace or turn rotors that you think are warped, check that you're not dealing with pad deposits instead. See this for an explanation: http://www.stoptech.com/technical-su...nd-other-myths

I agree with you on this, and I always do this. But due to a incident on the track I was sent to the "hot" pit with glowing brakes. Im afraid this caused it. I tried to keep the car moving, but...
