Trade my 06 E55 for a SVT Ford Raptor --- Discuss

Seen one around town and they are sick. Personally I wouldn't give up the E55 for it, but if you do want to get into something bigger id really consider the 2012 Jeep SRT8's.
I wouldn't mind getting into a Raptor either.

I wouldn't trade my car for one but I'd love to own one in conjunction with it. It's your choice and either way is awesome, just don't get a Lightning. I mean seriously, a Mercedes E55 to a Lightning

My input is hell yes. The svt raptor is insane, livernois motorsports just came out with a cam spring package that puts the power to 420rwhp na.
The aftermarket is big for those trucks and whipple now has a 3.4 package out that puts it in the mid 600rwhp range and deep deep 11s.
Where that truck really shines is in the dunes and desert too, the possibilities are endless. When I get to work I will post some pics so the amg fellas know what type of beast this thing really is.
1) You are in a MB forum

2) I used to have a Lightning (ran 11's ALL day) that I loved and have been lusting over the Raptor for sometime now.
3) Give it a shot. Switch it up. No one says you need to keep it if you don't like it!

Lightnings are far older now and go for much less money, so it wouldnt be right to compare them.. They are far differnt trucks anyway, and are built for different things. He said he wanted a truck, so I was just throwing out another idea.. So you throw up (compare) pics of modded raptors vs a stock lignting, seems comparable

Either way if he was going from a Lightning or Raptor from an E55 it would be a definite down grade in my book.

On the other hand, going from a E55 to a Raptor is not a down grade for the following reasons:
- Raptor has new better technology
- Way better interior than the outdated e55
- Has the capability of running super fast at the track and going duning all in one package.
- And for me, the aftermarket is WAYYYYYYYYYYY better which is a win win in my book.
You cant tell me this thing does not have a presence. This truck has a lift on it which I would not do, if anything I would lower is slightly from the factory

If you want a hot-rod truck, buy a 3/4 Ton, 6' Bed crew cab diesel.
