Give the dude his shipping money back
Another caveat emptor story. Just didn't expect it to be about one of our own:

I've sold countless things on here including 3 sets wheels. Have bought numerous large ticket, and sold large ticket things on eBay and other forums. I encourage you to search tbal and see my 20,000 posts on diff forums and check to see if Iam that kind of seller.
This guy bought the rims, for delivered, a week later tells me they were cracked. I had the tires removed from the wheels, and the wheels were on my car no problem. My tire shop whose been around for 10 years did not mention anything about a crack. So I packed the the rims shipped them off. So now giving the situation, and this noob who has 1 post on here I sold them. Week later to find out 3/4 rims had hairline crack in the inside part of the rim. I'll post some pix. I dunno what happened, at this point i had somebody trying to screw me over for some wheels I didn't know. So PayPal case was opened...
After finding out there cracked I offered to have them repaired, but this guy wanted half the money back. I didn't agree so he wanted a full refund. But after being a douche bag I left the PayPal case do their job and he was refunded.
Now I got the rims and the 3 that are cracked I looked at them and am shocked. I don't know how they were missed, or if this guy had them on his car, who knows. He got his money back, I got my rims, $200 wasted on shipping, I'm sure he did too end of discussion. People make mistakes, this was a honest mistake that seemed like somebody trying to pull a fast one on me. Move on!

I once bought a hard drive at Best Buy....brand new and shrink-wrapped. Got home...the box was stuffed with phone book pages and a complete, unopened can of Pepsi. Someone pulled a fast one on them and it took a LOT of screaming on my part to get my $100 refund from the store manager. He accused me of doing it. If I had such a diabolical plan, I wouldn't waste the hour in line and at the customer service counter; I'd be returning "brand new" products after buying a shrink-wrap machine.

wouldn't surprise me one bit.

There is already a thread about it... no need to relive it again.
And lets not forget there are 3 sides to every story especially on the internet, Party A's, Party B's and the truth.
