Its def a steal, since wagons go for a premium compared to the sedans. However, you never pay the asking price when buying a car. Always room for negotiation. Anyone local to this wagon get a chance to check it out???? Wonder if maintenance is up to date on it.

I have always lusted after these estates. I am now in the market for one and found this car on e-bay then decided to do some forum research on reliability and issues etc.
I came accross this forum and then this thread discussing the very same car. Has anyone local checked it out? I am interested but I am in Austin, TX. Can anyone suggest a trusted shop for PPI?
What are some things to look out for in these models?
My father recently got rid of his C-class estate after lots of electrical gremlins (seat issues, etc) and rusting at the bottoms of all the doors. Perhaps it was only isolated to his car, maybe it was in a flood (he did buy it in Florida). He heard from a shop manager that during the Chrysler merger years some production processes were changed and that the doors were not galvanized the same what they used to be. Not sure if this is true?
Thanks, Chris
