Modded 2013 GT500 runs 10.02@142!!
I don't have a video or anything yet but i got a text message from a friend saying the Evolution built 2013 GT500 just ran 10.02@142. He said its tuned and running 28'' slicks and front skinnies. They can't release much info on any other mods because its for the 5.0 Mustang magazine. Looks like these things are going to be rough on the streets.

Didn't realize its that fast with so few mods. I mean I definitely see those types of cars rolling around but most wont run on the streets. That's some crazy power. Definitely a bike killer.

It made 584 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 605 Rear Wheel Torque - 100% Stock on 93 Octane with 62 Miles on it.
After the Custom Dyno Tune on 93 Octane by Jon Lund, it made 634 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 655 Rear Wheel Torque.
Gain of 50 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 50 Rear Wheel Torque.

Face it. Our beasts are old now. The V8TT's and '13 GT500 and ZL1s are where we are stock. Happiness and sadness for evolution.

Yes our cars are older but I can only think of 3 cars that I would want to sit next to the game changer that is the E55. I had 2 Mach 1's & 2 5.0's so the GT500 would be nice to have as well as the TRUE successor to our cars W212 E63TT and of course the 2013 GTR. The only issue is do I really want a car payment

The launch control is more for street tires or a slick track. I would bet with slicks they're not using it. I wish we knew what the weight and other mods were. If these things are already in the 9's basically then wait a few weeks and they will be running 8's no doubt.

Damn thats a killer time and some insane numbers. I'm sure I'll see quite a few of these at the next TX2K event.. I need more mods.

+1. We've ruled the roost for quite a few years though. It was fun while it lasted. Still a bad *** 4 door luxury car and no Stang can take that from us.

Now for us this car is apples to oranges, we have 4 door luxury sedans that seat 5 and can rip up the track or take the family on a comfortable trip. The GT500 is just pure power with little finesse and it just put a lot of 2 door 2+2 cars on notice! Roflmao it's 2002-2003 all over again.
