Official Weistec M113K 3.0L Supercharger, PICTURES INSIDE!!!
I hope to have the E55 back on the road by then and I would like to run a couple of my trucks.
That track day after the EC Tuning day in Beltsville, I ran 12.1 with a 9.0 AFR chugging black smoke all the way down the track like a Diesel. I would think a proper tune and a better kompressor should do a tad better.

And what are you doing about your crank pulley, gonna run it with Weistec's larger lowest boost supercharger pulley?
Please tell me you plan on dynoing the car right away too! Gotta see what it does on 93 octane with the different tuning. And what boost will you be running?
I was looking to do that with proxes r888 but a few people told me 275 would be the limit on our 9" stockers so was going to order 275's in the toyos as soon as winter passes up here

Will keep everyone updated on numbers and the build as soon as I reach the garage today, supercharger has been bolted on, most of the parts have been installed just waiting for my DME to reach Bahrain from Weistec.
Absolutely LOVE the final product of the Supercharger.
Perfect Job Weistec!
The worlds first Weistec Supercharger has reached, a very special thank you to Ejaz (0-60 Motorsports) and the boys from Weistec for making me the first customer to receive the 3.0 Supercharger
Now let the pics do the talking

Final goodbye to the AMG supercharger and "most" of the Kleemann parts. They've done me well in the past 6 years

My WEISTEC goodies

The beast

Removing the stock Supercharger

Ejaz and Allen working hard figuring out how to uninstall the parts

And she's out! Weighed a ton! needed two people to remove the S/C from the engine bay! Supercharger will be cleaned later on

Since the internals have never been cleaned, Allen and his crew will be cleaning the entire engine, from top to bottom
The car without the Supercharger, as you can see the AMG S/C on the floor :hilarious:

Supercharger has been installed, just checking if everything fits

The engine is extremely dirty, so will keep you all posted on what happens today. Allen, Ejaz and I will be cleaning the engine bay today and all the internals before we finally install and screw in the Weistec parts.

Are you doing any other modifications at the same time as the Weistec?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I will have to work it in among other projects in the works. Could take a day or a week to get done.
Still waiting on my ECU to be sent back by Weistec.
G

Keep us posted on the results and if it truly came with everything needed to get it done.Aaron

Waiting on Weistec to send back my ECU.
One thing they do that is slick in a way. They do not include the pulley or belt in the kit. They send it with the ECU. That will keep people from going for a test drive without the correct calibration.
I am told tomorrow they will overnight my ECU, supercharger pulley, and belt.
Can't wait.

There are a lot of metal shavings in the intercooler inlet of my stuck supercharger. Looks like the rotors cut into the casing. It is a paper weight for sure.

The problem is that a wide range of ethanol content can be labeled as E85. You can tune the hell out of it on good E85. Then get a tank of E60 and blow the thing right up.
If you look over the Net you will see lots of blown engines on E85 for this reason. The are only two ways to do it safely. 1. test the ethanol content of the fuel before you put it in the tank, or 2. use a high end EMS that incorporates an ethanol sensor so the EMS knows the ethanol content of the fuel and adjust the calibration to fit that ethanol content.
