My buddies bday is coming, and his gf wants to get him something car related. I know he needs a new key after losing one, and the other works intermittently. So can anybody tell me if this one is available for order??

We went to one of the local dealers and they don't know anything about it, said it could be a US only thing.

That's from a 2013 GL63. Tell your dealer you want a new keyfob and give em a VIN off a 13 GL63 and see what comes up?

It says they are only for 2010-2012??? So it won't work on my 2009? I didn't see any difference in appearance/shape? Can someone confirm?

These are the 2010 - up keys. I believe the 2009 keys, you have to slide out the internals to replace the batteries...i.e, you cant replace the cap.


It's a cool cap but I agree, it's a bit too much.
