Yessir!! I did LED rear turn signals for the instantaneous on/off cycles. I thought about running LEDs for rear running lights but didn't think it would be a huge benefit or difference so I likely will just leave as-is.

Another update.
I wanted more purposeful pedals, including a dead pedal. I have UltimatePedals for my E46 and was very happy with the final product, so I chose them again to make a set for the W211.
They already have a template for the W211 and I modified my order by adding a flange to the dead pedal, extending the width of the brake pedal, and went with anti-slip on all except the gas pedal.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the upgrade. Transitioning my right foot between the brake and accelerator is perfect for me. (Maybe time to start learning left foot braking, lol.)

what instrument cluster is that? I love the black instead of the silver....also how much you want to do my tails like yours?
and lastly, what did you use to get your supercharger so clean? Mine has stains on it I cannot seem to get off.

Nice Pewter Beast bro!
I have an 05 Pewter as well, but I blacked out my stock AMG wheels matte black. I too love the pics and updates! Most importantly your avatar boasts a YZF! I used to work and race for Yamaha and Im stoked to see another and a fanatic track guy.
Next time your up in the OC (more specifically HB) drop in and say hello!

I did this mod by swapping the black faceplate from my wife's E320.
The E320 now has silver face with black dials.
The E55 now has a black face with white dials, like GunMoto's
Both look better.

You can't spray it because the paint will cover the clear parts where the light is supposed to shine through. Like the traction control symbol and gas symbol.

If you're not the patient type, I would consider having the work done. Plus, the turn around time would be much quicker. I chose to DIY because of the learning experience and budget, which I'm sure you follow as well from your many DIY threads.
Def get intouch with berti_00 to see if he can one-off an E63 wheel for you. Otherwise, you can simply find a CLK63 Black Series wheel because you have the type of airbag for it for a straightforward swap. Lulz...thanks pare!!

BagMan is right, not possible to paint without a flawless result. Just find a cheap cluster with black face plate on eBay. The swap is fairly straightforward. If you run into a snag, just let us know!

Lemme check if I have any left over tint vinyl. If it's simply grease and grime, you can use a garden hose, simple green, and a toothbrush. I usually just go to the local self wash, and use their degreaser, let it work in for a minute or two, then pressure wash the grease and grime off.
