Eurocharged, Kleeman & Renntech
Hey guys,
I finally got the courage to think about getting a tune, I have no mods yet just planning to start with a simple tune.
Many of you have Eurocharged some have Kleeman and some have Renntech
I know Eurocharge offer lifetime free re-flashes and also is closeby to where I live so no need to send in ECU same is with Kleeman.
So guys I need your opinion. Which is the best ?
Facts ? gains ? suggestions ? Best Bang for buck ?

But You have stage 3 bro, I was just simply talking about a "tune" that's it.
Someone pointed it out that a stock E55 makes 390 hp to wheels so just a tune , euro says gains around 52 hp , is it true ?

my eurcharged tune is good, i was very happy with it. i do get a cutting out issue around the 2500 rpm range in M mode 1st gear but sounds like they have a fix for it. so i will be contacting adam or jerry about that.

SO if the gains and everything are the same with all of them, why do people go with Kleeman and Renntech which don't even offer free reflashes ? is it cuz of the brand name ? status symbol of some sort ?

Problems with their performed tune or customer service or something ? If you don't mind sharing what went wrong ? and my car is a daily driver and Buckhead imports I believe is US based and I rather not mail my ECU lol

From my experience, RennTech and Kleemann will only do "tunes" when you go with their stage 1 package which includes a crank pulley.
Eurocharged will gladly do a "tune only". Expect ~25-30whp and ~25-30wtq from a tune only.
The Renntech and Kleeman pulley and tunes will net 40-50whp and 50-70wtq.
There is also a considerable cost associated with Kleeman and Renntech. Although the performance and service is justified.
Look into the Eurocharged SC pulley and tune. Great price and good power.

Eurocharged claims 52 hp gains and others claim less than that. Free re-flash is still better than $100 lol just saying

buckhead imports you wont be disappointed. i tune sct so it was weird having someone in control of my tune but tony didnt mind my imput since i did the data logging the results a great tune that feels awsome and a safe af ratio. Track times are a coming

Happy Eurocharged customer for 3 years (multiple tunes including a custom one). The other companies are well established with a good name and that is probably why more people tend to go with them but you won't be disappointed with Jerry and no MB tax with him

I have to put my vote in for Jerry and Eurocharged as well. He will put in so much time to make the tune just right once you start getting into custom mods.

Kleemann all day,No check engine lights,no part throttle issues,no long pause between shift issues and last but not least did I mention no check engine lights and no problems passing all inspection monitors?Who needs a retune when there tune is perfect from the get go?

I've had both a EC Tune and Kleemann and as Scratch states above, I'm very happy with my Kleemann tune for the same reasons. Reliability, power, customer service, safety and what feels like a much more, "Nuanced" tune if that makes any sense.
I'll have my car dyo'd in the next week or so with my Kleemann tune and post the results here.
Two thumbs way up for Kleemann!

I won't be dealing with Jerry but rather Mike, since I'm in Canada and either he's a partner in Eurocharged or just a branch of it. Not sure. I have also emailed Kleeman authorized shop here in Oakridge Ontario. Waiting for a response.
