is the one that crashed (the green one in that video) possibly a 550-2? i couldn't imagine the AWD gallardos fish tailing like that, especially on the freeway.

You have to really be in touch w/these Vettes to lukily counter steer from disaster, I've told this story few times but last time (made me sell it) was on frwy late night, nailed gas @ 65-70 mph & luckily NO other cars around & that I was in # 2 lane of 4 lane frwy, Had huge 345/30 Pilots on (but it was about 55-60 deg out) sure enough huge fishtale back end swinging wildly back & forth completely into #3 lane & #1 lane (if I was in either fast lane #4 near cement fwy divider or there were any cars around I'd of crashed violently/badly) They come Stock w/limited slip diff to.
Vettes SUCK! Beautiful & fast but I've seen multiiple others exp same explosive/violent fishtale from roll-on in straight line.. Chk Youtube for Vette crashes it's very common..

There was a guy with a new ZR-1 running at our local (crappy) 1/8 mile last winter. About half way down the track, he got loose and went straight into the wall. It looked like about the same place this guy lost it....
