Question regarding Pulley
Hello,
Recently I got Eurocharged tune and noticed a difference in power but the most beneficial thing I saw was a better gas mileage. lol yeah I don't take my car to the track or anything. Mostly highway or city. So noticed a big difference.
Question is , if I get the 180mm pulley it will start making a boost of 15 psi factory is 11 psi. That means tune would have to be modified.
Does it mean getting a pulley will give me more power but will adversely affect my mileage too ???
Also my friend told me it means more pressure on the pistons, and since I do not have forged pistons or anything, it isn't exactly safe ??
cuz if anything breaks due to the pulley my warranty won't cover it either. ??
Please give me your feedback. Thanks in advance

55ks have cast hypereutectic pistons. Larger crank pulley equals higher boost, your right foot will dictate your gas milage. If you hurt the motor, take off the pulley and put the stock one back on along with your stock tune.

Forged crank and Rods but not pistons. Your Highway mileage should stay the same, as the Supercharger is on a clutch but your in town mileage may go down with your foot to pedal action.

wouldn't with the tune , they would have to change the air/fuel mixture to feed the new boost settings hence meaning increase in gas consumption regardless of highway or city ?

The car would need more fuel once the supercharger is engaged. Your ECU runs closed loop not under boost and open loop once under boost, its using a different set of tables.
