Sounds like its your supercharger engaging and you think that lil hiccup is a shift. My guess is you have the famous supercharger chirp and nothing more.

I know exactly what he's talking about, my car does it too. From a standstill, taking off WITH the SC already engaged, it will go to switch to second then shift real hard and fast and let off a huge squeak, like tires chirping. Although it comes from the trans area. OP, This what you mean?

I found it only does it to me in sport, not in comfort or manual. Maybe EC can post the differences between the modes as far as the TCU is concerned.

Wow, maybe its your clutch? The sound does sound like some heavy slippage but quickly grabs afterwards. See if you can get a video of it to help other members here. I would but its very sporadic for me. Sounds like yours is quite often.

From what happened to me, there is no doubt that something is slipping in the trans. Theres almost a hesitation and then when it shifts, BAM SQUEAK, then all is fine. Hopefully its nothing serious.

Any update on this? Just noticed mine is doing the same 06 with 90k miles and all current on service including transmission. Only thing I'm thinking its time for is serpentine belt?

Only does it under hard load shift from 1st to 2nd no other gears and never on gentle acceleration.

Like Shardul said - Check the rear subframe BOLTS as well. They are a required replacement item whenever they are removed. if there was ever any work in the rear or rear airbags replaced - they should have has the bolt holes cleaned, and new bolts installed and torqued. If one is loose or broken, the subframe could be shifting/making noise. Also be sure there is nothing rolling around in the spare tire area...

Squeaking noise shifting from first to second

..I am also experiencing the same problem, its not all the time but its usually under heavier acceleration. My 55 has 60k on it, all stock, and babied. Can some one please chime in to let us know a way to resolve this issue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..Thanks much.
