So I Went To Install My K&N Filters But...
Was surprised by two things, each side has two filters and all the junk that was in the air box. I needed to use a vacuum to clean them out.
I don't remember having two filters on my old E55, I guess its there for extra insurance if something gets by the first filters.
Do you guys leave the top filters installed when installing the K&N filters?

my dealer tried to give me lip about removing the top filers when I did my K&N installs. Said to put them back in or they will void engine warranty so I put them back in. Didn't get any errors for the 4 or so months I ran without them.
