According to the first post, you can get this bad boy in sizes ranging to the 168-200mm equivelent lower pulley. Sounds pretty killer especially if you can remove that huge spinning magnet for even more decreased rotational mass.

Hopefully tuning is as simple as comanding the bypass valve to open when off throttle or when >10% load.

this is a great thing and will be largely dependent on the tune

It can be as simple as using MAP values. Open the valve under vaccum, close the valve over 1 bar.

This is great! I emailed Weistech about this a couple months ago.. They had no interest even though they already have the tune. All of the Kleemann units run all of the time and are liquid smooth.
I loved driving a kleemann car after i built it.

I Am in for this...also, i will dyno test. Very excited!

Being new to the E55 world I have to ask. Why hasn't anyone made this before now?

I think the tune was the biggest thing holding this mod back in the past....

correct, with the clutch if the iats get too high the clutch would disengage and it would save the motor etc... Here the tuning will control the bpv to open and let off the boost in case something like that were to happen

The tune will be the most important thing to this mod

It got me thinking. With people swapping to weistech's, stock blower/manifolds will be up for sale. This "fixed" pully may make it easier to swap to a na engine. Just need to fab up a vacumme activated bypass and a front cover swap. Would look good under the hood of my c43

Speaking of which... I have one for sale i also just did the front cover swap on my clk and it's a pain. Plus people have done the swap without this pulley. They used blow off valve welded to surge tank and a pedal switch for the SC clutch

Hi

Well done on the development of this product. It is great to see some of this going on at the moment.

Might have to sell my un-used supercharger pulley that I just purchased from Shardul!

Regards,

OZZYAMG

........hey Donnie! You built my CLK32K Kleemann, E55S7 Kleemann and G55K. For those who don't know, Donnie is a boss!!

.......I was just thinking that this might allow those with NA V855AMG's to more easily use the AMG supercharged. The problem currently is how to get these older ECU's to work with the s/c clutch.

I think a bigger problem would be the bypass.

Very excited about this...even after just doing the smaller blower pulley.

Will you guys offer a removal tool as well?

The M113K uses an electronic bypass while the N/A M113 doesn't. How would you go about this? Just eliminating the bypass all together?

Blow off valve would be easiest. You could also do a whipple style bypass valve.

But that would require fabrication, which is why I said that it would be more complicated than the pulley setup.

I might be completely wrong but having that much power readily available and S/C always engaged would take a toll on other components won't it ?

Other thing would be due to the S/C engaging at later rpm or only under WOT was the only factor allowing this car to be drivable in winter lol if that is taken away and all the power is readily available , Oh Lord Have mercy in winter. Traction is going to go nuts

You might say who drives these cars in winter but practicality is something ain't it ?
