How much is this? My stock pulley is trashed, if I put the stock crank pulley back on what size will I need to make 15.6 psi?

I think they will have the smallest sc pulley the equivalent of the 180 crank pulley
As far as psi it depends on the amount of restriction you have

you will need a combination of 2 pulleys to get the desired boost.Originally Posted by Turbine

Any updates regarding the clutchless pulleys?

Currently when i select "C" Mode in my CL 55 AMG, throttle response is totally different and i need almost 1/2 pedal way to start getting into motion from a stand-still at all.
And this is even described in my manual that came with the car that way.
I thought that this would be the same on the E55K aswell.
So there is already a communication that tells the ECU that i selected "C" mode and therefor Throttle-response/throttle-way is immediately altered.
I think that is your tranny. Goes in higher gears in C and in S RPMs go higher because it holds them longer. Do a reset and tell me then. Clear memory.Originally Posted by Crissus

I have been running one of these fixed uppers from shardul for about 1,500 miles now and it is a 180 equivalent on my 04 E55. I have a EC H/E and johnson pump with secondary cat delete. stock crank pulley, stock manifolds. I am still running the first tune i got when i installed the pulley. The car runs great! put down 480.2 whp and 557.1 wtq on a dynojet. Which i was real impressed with and the a/f's were safe. It does pull hard. A noticeble difference from my old 180 crank pulley. i would note the supercharger is kinda noisy at idle.. but just off idle the noise is gone. Part throttle is alot more aggressive now and took some time to get used to but not as bad in "c" mode. the 1-2 shift can be jerky if your not careful. But this car is making boost at lower rpms now. Before the clutch was not engaged. they are working on new tune for me now to help out with this. but its really not to bad. I still drive my car regularly. install was easy, you do have to install a resistor into the harness side of the supercharger magnet connector. i soldered some pins i had on the end of the resistor that shardul provided and so far so good.I personally like this set up better than old my crank pulley. i just wish i dyno'd my car before to see the difference.

Thanks for your feedback brother but you are also in the initial stage. You, yourself stated that the tune needs to be tweaked, so maybe you can update us as soon as that happens. Originally Posted by 55guy

In the meanwhile any videos , graphs or anything ?
The thing is the veterans post solid data (I don't understand any of it) but then members like PAcougar, Urbanworm, E55AMGrocket, Sirboostalot etc all of them come and decrypt it and then I understand it lol that's what I was waiting for

Can you describe the noise please? What is the purpose of the resistor?Originally Posted by 55guy

Thanks for the intel.

its a rattle type noise only at idle. you can't hear it in the car, but you can if standing outside.. and it goes away just off idle. i think this be normal when running this fixed pulley. but it could be just my car as i have not heard anyones else's who is running this set up.. i have had no problems in 1,500 miles tho. and the resistor basically tells the M.E. that the supercharger is engaged by simulating the resistance of the magnet.. hope this helps..

sorry the pic is so small .. ill try again later when i get home. if you can tell my iat's creeped up and it started to pull timing at about 5200..
Thanks for the reply, 55Guy.
No issues there. Rotor sound should be part of the Beast soundtrack.

It's fixed a fixed pulley, so I would go ahead and assume , no shims at all.Originally Posted by berti_00

Incorrect number of shims was the reason , I think lol
