e55 amg, gmc yukon, wrx, Sti, civic si, tundra
no spare sucks
cruising to work my driver rear tire got
punctured. luckily i had some fix a flat in the trunk and was able to get it to discount tire. even luckier i had warranties on my tires and was able to get both rears replaced for $75. the passenger rear had a chip in sidewall missing.

Are you looking for the compact spare the other w211 amg cars have? or just another wheel and tire that will fit but sit in your garage? You could try calling a few salvage yards to see if they have something that works.

Also, If you get the compact spare that requires inflation, be sure to see if they have the 12v air compressor for the spare.

thanks. my car does come with the 12v compressor, i will check all the yards for a w211 spare

Your car should have come with a 12v compressor, jack, and wrench. I also carry a cheap tire plug kit for emergencies.

hmm..could have been an add-on option then, or a mid-year change ?? There is no room for a spare and the battery is mounted forward in the trunk pan as opposed to on the RH side on the E55's I've seen with a spare

Do what i did. Go to tirerack for closeout deals on rims and buy one and tire at same time. I have an OZ superleggera 18 spare in the trunk.
