you don't need an adaptor plate the 722.9 will bolt onto the M113K.

There is a local guy with a CLS550 that swapped the CLS55 motor in it but kept the 7 speed transmission. He is running flawless with no errors.

Interesting indeed,,

M113K uses ME2.8, and EGS52, that can be programmable, but M273 550’s uses ME 9.7, and EGS53, that couldn’t be programmed,,

how can they match the ECU/TCU signals through the data/file....?, and need to do an Authorization for starting module

in the gear....??
